I hired Vreeland Roofing to fix the flat roof over my patio, it was leaking. The man who showed up seemed irritated when I asked him to specify on the written proposal: a projected start and finish date. I thought he was unprofessional but I hired him anyway because of the 5 year no leak warranty they provided in writhing. Big mistake on my part. They did very poor work that caused the leak to be worse than it was before. Because they removed the old membrane but did not replace or do a proper job sealing they area they worked on, according to the following roofer I hired. When I called them to come back and correct their mistake, they gave me the run around and eventually stopped returning my calls. I persisted until they finally decided to tell me that they are not going to honor the warranty, for these following reasons: I did not pay them quickly enough. I reminded the lady on the phone that I presented her with a certified check in the amount of $1,750 from Chase Bank, the day after the final inspection. She was in fact the same person who came and picked it up. She added that I had an old roof and it was leaking everywhere and stated that I must be complaining about some other leaks. I was not. I agreed that my roof was old, but it was only leaking where they had worked on. She said she'd have someone call me. That call never came.
These guys did a fantastic job on my Mother's Roof!!
